A man was found dead, with a stab wound to the neck, at a house in Princes Town yesterday.

The man, who was identified only as ’Aaron’, was spending the night at his friend’s house, when he was murdered.

The killing happened at Solomon Street, Cedar Hill, Princes Town.

It is the fourth known murder for the year.

Kevon Matthews, owner of the house, said he was liming with two men at his home on Monday night.

They asked to spend the night in his living room.

Matthews told police that around 6 a.m. he was awakened by loud noises inside the house.

He jumped through a window and hid, police said.

When he returned half an hour later, his friend, believed to be in his 20s, was dead.

The second man could not be found, police said.

Two weeks ago, Matthews reported that bandits broke into his house and threatened to kill him, investigators said.

This killing is the third murder recorded for 2010.

Princes Town police are continuing investigations.
