Gary Hunt Admits There Were Errors.
February 8th, 2010.

The Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs admits there were errors in the erection of the National Flag at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

Gary Hunt labels the implementation of the flag as one of the mis-steps made by his Ministry over the past year.

His admission comes after months of criticisms.

Many have said that the two million dollars spent on the flag was a waste of money and they were further angered by Minister Hunt’s claim that there is no price on National Pride.

Last night Minister Hunt said it was an error.

The Minister and the National Flag issue have been the butt of many calypsoes this year.

In an address to the nation, Minister Hunt said the Sports Company has been given a mandate, following the controversy.

The Minister said the so-called legacy flag was created as a reminder of the great achievements of sporting heroes.
